EVERY WHITE BELT SHOULD KNOW THIS SIT-UP GUARD SWEEP - NO-GI VERSION

I bring you the sit-up guard.

This guard is effective in a no-gi jiu jitsu style competition. When entering this guard, make sure not to give up any space. I talk about where to go once you establish the sit-up guard.

This guard will serve as a home base to enter different sweeps and positions.

In a video coming up soon, I will talk about what to do if our opponent is preventing you from performing this technique.

Drill, and then drill some more. You should drill this technique so much that it becomes muscle memory.
