Gran Turismo 7 - World Touring Car 900 - Nurburgring GP Race & Strategy Guide - UPDATED 1.50

Welcome to my guide to winning the World Touring Car 900 Race around Nurburgring GP on Gran Turismo 7.

THIS RACE WAS COMPLETED ON HARD DIFFICULTY

Car Used for this race: Nissan GT-R NISMO GT550 ’16

Items I bought for this car from the Tuning Shop:
Racing Hard Tyres
Intermediate Tyres
Heavy Wet Tyres

Adjustments I made in the Tuning Menu:
Downforce: Front - 750
Downforce: Rear - 1150

DRY CONDITIONS STRATEGY TLDR:
Start the race on Racing Hard Tyres, Pit on Lap 7 for Racing Soft Tyres and only put 3 laps of fuel. No fuel saving is required.WET CONDITIONS STRATEGY TLDR: Start the race on Racing Hard Tyres, pit when the track is wet enough for either Intermediate Tyres of Heavy Wet Tyres, make sure you only fuel up to the marker on the fuel bar. No fuel saving is required.

This race is actually quite tough, the AI are very quick around this circuit, the only place you can make up time is through the “S’ section after the hairpin. Try to stay consistent and mistake free, get through traffic quickly and cleanly, staying behind cars will cost a lot of time and cause you to have more tyre wear and dirty air will give you less downforce.

You can now check the weather radar before the race making it easier to get an understanding of potential rain on the way and what tyres to start the race on.

I have my Traction Control set to 0 but that’s personal preference, to stop the car from oversteering the lower gears you might want to put on some Traction Control or just get used to the car.
