CRATER LAKE IN THE SPRING TIME AND UMPQUA HOT SPRINGS (don't miss these spots)

We arrived just two days before the park roads opened up for the summer, but nonetheless, we had such a memorable day at a lake bluer than blue. We hiked along a speck of the rim, had an epic snowball fight, and got views of the super moon rising over the lake. Our single day in Crater Lake was short, but beautiful, and satisfied, we drove northwest to Umpqua National Forest. This dense, green forest is home to a picturesque, hazy blue hot spring that cascades off a hillside— literally something you would imagine to be in a story book. We had the best time soaking in the forest and pretending to be magical fairytale characters. Oregon, you are a magical place with so much to offer. Excited for all else that’s to come!
