“*Grrrrr!*” The distant growl of the Trapper sent a shiver down his spine. Tapp clenched his fists, the thrill of survival igniting his determination. He had become Prestige 69, but that meant nothing if he didn’t escape this realm.
“*You think you can hide?*” The Huntress’s voice cut through the fog, mocking and sinister.
“I’m not hiding,” Tapp shot back, a smirk creeping onto his face. “Just... strategically repositioning.”
“*You’re a dead man walking!*” The Nurse's voice echoed, a laugh like cracked glass following.
Tapp darted behind the generator, heart pounding. “I’ve faced worse. You think I’m afraid?” He could hear their footsteps closing in, the tension thickening.
“*Then let’s see if you can run!*” The Trapper lunged, snapping his bear trap with a CLANG!
With a deep breath, Tapp sprinted into the fog. “You’ll have to catch me first!” He shouted, laughter bubbling up despite the danger. This was his game, his last....
