Griffiths QM Problem 4.13 (3rd ed.) Finding Expectation Values for Hydrogen Atom

Описание к видео Griffiths QM Problem 4.13 (3rd ed.) Finding Expectation Values for Hydrogen Atom

In this video I will solve problem 4.13 as it appears in the 3rd edition of Griffiths introduction to quantum mechanics. The problem states:
a) Find expectation value of r and r^2 for an electron in the ground state of Hydrogen. Express your answers in terms of the Bohr radius a.
b) find the expectation values of x and x^2 for an electron in the ground state of hydrogen.
c) Find the epxectation value of x^2 in the state n=2, l=1, m=1.
