Are your memory and executive function not as good as they used to be?

While this exercise may seem simple, there are many things happening in the brain to make this a very effective therapy for cognition and frontal lobe activation. The patient is coordinating hand-eye movements, dual tasking, saccadic eye movements and crossing midline in response to a stimulus. When crossing midline we are allowing for greater cross-talk between the two hemispheres; talk about a full brain workout!

As we are able to increase complexity of therapy we begin to see greater responses and improvements in cognition and frontal lobe function. Our frontal lobes are what allow us to be human; they regulate our emotions, allows us to plan and make decisions, cultivate relationships and keep order in our day, have a personality and impulse control, organize, be attentive, have expressive language and appropriate social behavior!

We see frontal lobe function decline as people age BUT it does not have to be that way...THAT IS NOT NORMAL! We are here to help!
