The Biggest Lung Space of Bangalore in Jnanabharathi campus, Bangalore University needs protection! Around 650 acres has 1500 plant species as part of this biodiverse forest. It is an habitat for many animals with number of valleys capable of storing water. Capacity to recharge 350 crore liters of Ground Water has been developed. More than 150 varities of birds & butterflies have been identified there. This speaks about the success story of creation of this huge man made green patch of Bangalore.
