Hello again! I can’t believe it’s been so long since the last time I posted but… life happened, I guess. Besides the fact that I’ve been really busy with school stuff, I just wasn’t feeling inspired enough by any TV show to actually edit it – until I watched Les combattantes.

I honestly can’t remember the last time I cried so much while watching a TV show. I swear the ending absolutely broke me, though I guess it was realistic enough. Still, I just hate the fact that my favorite characters always end up having the worst fate. Seriously, what’s up with that?

I do think the TV show was definitely worth the heartbreak, though, as it’s just incredible. The strong female leads, the drama, the plot twists, the cinematography, the acting (Audrey Fleurot says hi)… Truly phenomenal. It’s criminally underrated and I genuinely recommend everyone to watch it, just remember to bring a box of tissues – you’re gonna need it.

Though I’m probably never gonna get over the ending, editing really does help ease the pain a little. That’s why I knew I had to make a vid of these two and when I heard this song just a few hours after finishing the show, I instantly thought of Marguerite and Caroline. I do have to admit I cried while making the edit because I had to watch all the sad scenes again but it was 100% worth it because I’m really happy with how it turned out... and I hope you will be too!
