Robbie rips a worn-to-the-wood Fender Custom Shop Heavy Relic Nocaster through an EHX Slap-Back Echo into a Fender Tone Master Princeton. Clean, crispy, slappy, country, chickeny-pickeny goodness.

Rumor has it that when Leo Fender rolled into the NAMM show with his first solid-body electric guitar design, he quickly became the butt of a myriad of "canoe paddle" puns from the army of accordion aficionados and jazz guitar prodigies. Fast forward to 1951, and the joke’s on the bullies when Leo’s design garnered so much attention that Gretsch decided to sue over the use of the Broadcaster trade name. The end result is the “Nocaster”, an in-between Telecaster model from the earliest days of Fender’s foray into the arms race of the rock & roll revolution. They say imitation is the highest form of flattery, and if that’s the case, we could certainly put the Telecaster at a 10 on the flattery scale. But a lawsuit? Let’s go ahead and call that an 11 out of 10, Mr. Fender. Well done, good sir, well done.
