“temporary” is based on a song i wrote before i started SYNSYS. it was about how good times in my life are temporary and will always end very quickly; friendships and overall happiness ended in a sudden and really stupid way, spiralling me into depression and driving me to write that song.

now “temporary” represents that the real temporary were those dark periods of my life, kind of flipping something negative into something positive. in a sense, the loneliness was necessary for me to now truly appreciate being around good people and having friends.

it gets better, trust me.
