In June 2024, Saskatchewan held its latest SINP draw inviting 120 applicants for permanent residency under the occupation-in-demand and Express Entry categories. The draw targeted SINP Expression of Interest (EOI) profiles with scores of 88 or above across 59 specified NOC codes. This was the second SINP draw of the year, following a previous draw in March that invited 35 profiles.
Effective May 1, 2024, SINP updated its list of ineligible occupations. Candidates residing outside Canada can apply directly through SINP under both categories, including the occupation-in-demand category without Express Entry. However, certain NOC codes are ineligible for SINP, and applicants are advised to review the full list.
The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) uses an EOI system where candidates with scores above 60 and relevant work experience can apply. Points are calculated based on various factors including education, work experience, and language proficiency. The draw is significant as it offers pathways to permanent residency for skilled workers and contributes to Saskatchewan's economic growth.
