Cauda equina syndrome (CES) is a complex disease that affects a patient's whole life and body. One aspect affected by CES is an individual's balance, whether it be from lack of sensation or trouble with muscle coordination poor balance is commonly reported. This can lead to dangerous falls and injury and must be taken into consideration when developing a care plan for patients.

Chuck Nitsch, PT, CEEAA, a retired physical therapist, and an instructor will share his knowledge with you on balance and CES in a way that is beneficial to both those in practice and patients alike.
