Haunted History: Gold Rush Trail (Promotional Pilot, 2021) Trailer

Re-releasing three years after it's debut, this teaser trailer for 'Beyond the Haunting Investigations' (BHI) Haunted Gold Rush Trail was a labour of love for Film Vancouver Productions. The promotional pilot was never aired, but it was used to find production and broadcast partners, and footage from the pilot appears in the series.

This pilot was written, produced and directed by Andrew de Villiers, with Jayme Cowley as Cinematographer and D'Arcy Hamilton on Camera. Dillon Bochon was Location Sound. A special thank-you to Danny MacDonald for editing the pilot, which was an incredibly complex task given the limited budget and resources. Everything you see was shot in Barkerville, British Columbia, Canada. Thankfully, most Baskerville survived the wildfires summer 2024 and you can still visit it during the summer season!
