Noma's Old Venue in Copenhagen is Now Home to Restaurant Barr

Restaurant Barr in Copenhagen is the second sibling restaurant of Noma – the renowned flagship of René Redzepi. A place to drink a wide selection of beer and eat modern versions of traditional dishes from Northern-European countries – in particular, Scandinavia, the British Isles, and the Benelux countries. On the menu this day were signature dishes of chef Thorsten Schmidt like frikadeller (Danish meatballs), schnitzel (breaded and fried pork, a dish originating in Austria), and Belgian waffles with sour cream and lumpfish roe. We also ordered some brand new dishes, like the crab in beer butter sauce, and the Hasselback potato with cream and caviar.
