Component Based Development (CBD) relies on creating “components” - a defined set of design elements and functionalities - and then putting them together to develop a complete page or site or application.

The implementation of a component based architecture can be broken down into 3 phases. Discovery, Design and Development, and Governance.

After a complete discovery process, it’s now time for phase 2 - Design and Development.

Your design team will start building templates for different sites and pages according to the brand guidelines. These are analysed by the development teams and broken down into different individual components.

Srijan teams use the Atomic Design philosophy where components put together make page elements. These then combine to form pages
and then complete websites.

During development, Srijan teams work on Pattern Lab to create a full repository of different components buttons, CTA, headers, sliders and more. Site builders can pick and choose components to build the pages they want. They can also customize the look of the components to match the theme of each brand site.

You can also create components that let you pull in archived content, and format it as per your new design. For large brands, with a huge volume of content that’s a crucial functionality to have.

This phase also involves testing and deployment of the redesigned sites, and the migration of new content.

Srijan teams can easily handle all that, and make sure that multiple brand site launches are on time, and without a hitch.

Now all that’s left is
Governance.
