VH1’s Hit The Floor is full of multi-talented actors and one of them is shows’ very own Jonathan McDaniel, who plays German Vega in the basketball drama.

McDaniel is not only an established actor, but a singer as well, who’s released three albums under the name nickname Lil J. He tells us Michael Jackson had the biggest impact on both his music, and acting career. “The biggest inspiration to me is Michael Jackson, all hail to the king, there will never be anyone as big as Michael Jackson. He was the biggest humanitarian in the world, he gave more, more than people could ever imagine. I loved just looking at him, and the way he carried himself in the industry” says the former Disney Channel star.

While season three of Hit The Floor is airing, McDaniel will be keeping himself busy in the studio in which he recently released a new single, “I Cry’ that’s available on iTunes now.
