Hydrogen Peroxide(the main active lifting ingredient) is acidic, and this will lighten by poking holes through your cuticle having very corrosive effects. Have you ever gotten hydrogen peroxide on your skin and watched it turn white? Yeah. Under the Sun these products will definitely have bleaching effects on the hair but will make it:
