The reality of living in a modern home is usually not discussed on social media, so I wanted to share the other side of modern home living. We definitely love our home and it is absolutely beautiful but there were some things we definitely did not think would be an issue for our new home that took us by surprise. Because we had to move around a lot for our training — she’s a lawyer, he’s a doctor — an immigrant parent’s goal couple lol — our first home was extra special to us because it was finally a place we could set our roots. Although not common, our goal is to make our first home our FOREVER home.
