NATIONAL LAMPOON'S ANIMAL HOUSE SYNOPSIS

Animal House is a raucous comedy set in at Faber College, a fictional university in the United States. The film follows the misadventures of the rowdy Delta Tau Chi fraternity as they clash with the strict academic and social norms of the college.

The story centers around a group of misfit Delta Tau Chi members, led by the charismatic and rebellious John "Bluto" Blutarsky (played by John Belushi). Bluto and his fellow Deltas, including the more level-headed Otter (Tim Matheson) and the clever D-Day (Bruce McGill), constantly find themselves at odds with the uptight college administration, particularly the college's Dean Vernon Wormer (John Vernon) and the snobby Omega Theta Pi fraternity.

With its wacky humor, memorable characters, and iconic moments, "Animal House" became a cult classic and a defining film of the comedy genre.
