Over 4 years building our wooden sailing boat! The cabintop deck is complete! (EP48)

In this episode we prepare the previously laid planking for deck caulking. The deck caulking is the final stage your beautiful cabin top and it’s a victorious moment to sand it back and admire.
We also fasten the trim which in the previous episode was steam bent with an iron and kettle of hot water! This trim caps the end grain of planking and will protect it for many years to come.
