As Indigenous activists, our goal is to improve the quality of life for our communities. We think and act in cycles, always considering the well-being of future generations. Currently, we are focused on learning and finding ways to build healthy relationships between indigenous and non-indigenous people. One of the major challenges is that many non-indigenous people have never had a meaningful conversation with an indigenous person, leading to misunderstandings and difficulties in communication. It is crucial that we work together to bridge these divides and create positive, respectful relationships.
