Hi, and welcome to Petersville farm. It has been six years since I last used a portable greenhouse. I plan to expand the greenhouse, but that will not happen this winter. The green house and garage are at capacity. I needed some additional space, so I resorted to a portable 7 feet by 15 feet hoop structure.

Shown here are the remnants of the first structure. The main issues were wind and the longevity of the cover. The cover of the old system lasted for a year. Since then, I utilized the frame as a trellis and as a shade structure in the garden. Today I will put the new design together. Based on my experience with this hoop structure, I will be making some existing modifications to help secure the hoop structure.

The structure is all up. I completed the flooring and ground layout. Next, I will be putting the cover over the frame. Unzip the door before sliding the cover over the structure. I used landscape fabric for the flooring and as the ground cover.

These stakes come with the package, but they are flimsy. I plan to get some studier ones. To secure the greenhouse to the ground, I place the landscape fabric here over the greenhouse cover's outlier base. The larger pots laid on top helps to ensure the landscape fabric stays in place. I will reinforce with ground stakes later on.

The package comes with this rope. It is much better quality than in the past. It may prove to be useful later on. I have also made some adjustments inside. Further, I secured it with rebar steel and zip ties. Now for the top piece, There's not much I can do in terms of its longevity. For small leaks, you could use greenhouse tape. The cover of the first greenhouse lasted a little over a year. We will see how this one performs. It would be nice if the manufacturer sells replaceable covers. You could also remove the top at the end of Spring.

The greenhouse has four windows on each side. The velcro does not align well in some instances, but you could add more velcro along the seams.
