Is it still a good value to build a DIY OSW Kit using a Small MIGE and a Simucube 1 in mid 2020? Is the SC2 Pro still a better idea? How much has changed since the Simucube 1 was first announced and the IndieGoGo ended?

I take a deep dive into my first direct drive wheel and let you know if it's a good value or not!

My total cost for all parts shipped and duties paid was around $900 USD, about $600 cheaper than the SC2 Sport (If I could even find one). Quite a lot cheaper! But I built it with more expensive parts to be over-driven to 25 Nm of torque and with the best PSU you can get for the Small MIGE motor. Could've built it for even less if I ordered a lower PSU model and I made less mistakes (I ordered the Simucube and Ioni Pro separately).
