I have been teaching robotics for over 20 years, and these are the 7 robots that I have invested in, and use in my coding and robotics workshops. See chapter headings to see my recommended ages for each robot type and to be able below to skip to your favourite!
One thing I look out for when buying robots is they should have rechargeable, built in lithium batteries. These all do, except the first one (Coding Express) but its a small price to pay for their extreme awesomeness. Changing 6 train's batteries isn't that hard!
