Valentine is written by Andrew Eldritch and The Sisters of Mercy released it in 1983 on The Reptile House EP.

I recorded my first four The Sisters of Mercy-covers in 2007 and put them on Myspace. Valentine was one of them. This is a revisited version of that old recording. Valentine is one of my favourite Sisters-songs and I have wanted to do something with my old version for a long time now.

What I kept from the 2007-recording:
Vocals, bassguitar, drumprogramming and the heavyguitars played in the background on the choruses.
Changes in 2024:
I re-recorded all the guitarmelodies, polished the drumprogramming, used the drumsounds I've used lately and some keyboards lurking in the background. I also added 17 years of mixing-experience.
