This presentation switcher (the MFS51-18G) has multi-format inputs/outputs, full control options, scaling, audio embedding and that’s just scratching the surface. In this video I provide the full break-down of all the features.

➡️ I first start with some suggestions on the best places to use this switcher – Meeting rooms, lecture theatres, boardrooms, classrooms, or other training facilities. Then I go into the capabilities of this powerful product. It offers resolutions up to HDMI 2.0 4K60 4:4:4 (18G) and output at different resolutions up to 4K30.

With a built in Scaler which lets you scale the video signals up or down and fast switching between the 3x HDMI, 1x DisplayPort and 1x VGA outputs at 4K30 4:4:4. (The HDBaseT outputs will transmit 4K30 4:4:4 to 40m and 1080p to 70m – using a Slim70 Edge RX).

➡️ The unit also allows for de-embedded stereo audio output, as well as embedding any external audio onto the selected input with line or microphone (phantom power available) facility.
