Part two of the show features a tape of Glen Sherley recorded in a prison yard. Sherley was mentored by Cash, and he enjoyed some success with his music. This was not to last, as Sherley was found dead in 1978 with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Cash's parents appear, as well as June's daughters Carlene and Rosie.
