Halfmoon Gulch trail near Leadville, CO

Halfmoon Gulch was my favorite trail, of the four we did, during our Leadville trip. It might even be my favorite trail that we have done to date. It had it all. It had water crossings, including a couple that would be much tougher in the spring time with snow melt and it being much deeper. It had views similar to Tincup. It was between two 14ers, Mt. Massive and Mt. Elbert, which the latter is the tallest peak in Colorado. It had a few small, fun obstacles. It even had an old mine site too. It is definitely worth checking out!
