How To: 11-Stitch Ribbed Cable (Hot Mess Headband)

Описание к видео How To: 11-Stitch Ribbed Cable (Hot Mess Headband)

Learn how to work the 11-stitch ribbed cable used in the Hot Mess Headband (a free pattern) from Ewe Ewe Yarns!

This video demonstrates how to place the cable stitches onto a spare needle while remaining in pattern. If you want to follow along I have used a worsted weight yarn and 3 - US 8 (5mm) DPNs (you may substitute a cable needle for the third DPN if you would like). I have cast on 22 sts and worked roughly 20 rows of k1, p1 ribbing, ready to work the cable row.

Abbreviations:
k1 - knit 1 stitch
p1 - purl 1 stitch
DPN(s) - double pointed needle(s)
