Скачать или смотреть Sharjah's global forum on communication opens as 237 experts debate how to improve lives

The 14th International Government Communication Forum opened in Sharjah, UAE, on Sept. 10 to 11 under the theme “Communication for Quality of Life”.

In his keynote, Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, said communication is meaningless unless it improves people’s lives.

The headline keynote came from Salman Amin Khan, founder of Khan Academy, the world’s largest online learning platform with over 200 million registered users in nearly 200 countries and content in 50 languages. Khan highlighted how AI is being integrated into education but will not replace teachers.

This year’s forum gathered 237 speakers from around the world for over 100 sessions on issues from food and water security to education and climate.
