Africa has much to offer the international business community, and we are going to prove it during the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA ®) 2023 General Assembly!

The World Trade Centers Association (WTCA ®) 2023 General Assembly marks a turning point for global business in Ghana and the entire African continent. It is the crowning achievement of all the efforts that government and business leaders have put into projecting a positive image of Ghana and Africa to world trade, and the world is taking notice.

Hosted by WTC Accra, the 2023 General Assembly, now known as the Global Business Forum, is the WTCA’s largest event annually and is a cornerstone globally for the international business community. It brings member World Trade Centers and their business networks together to support global commerce and represents the opportunity of a lifetime for African entrepreneurs and African businesses of all sizes to expand the trade economy.

From April 23-28, a diverse group of leaders from business, government, international organizations and more will gather in Ghana’s beautiful capital city of Accra with the backing of the WTCA network. International business meetings are a key focus of the forum. Africa is quickly emerging as a hub for technological and business innovation. In addition to world trade, the assembly will focus on new and expanded business opportunities across the entire African continent, not only in Ghana.

Africans have the ability to change the narrative and the continent’s relevance to the global economy through increased industrialization and value addition to their natural resources, rather than being a supplier of raw materials only. With its natural resources and population, Africa has the opportunity to increase its share of global GDP and trade by 10 times.
