A quick gameplay analysis of the Xbox One beta. This is a 1080p, fully remastered version of the original game with brand new textures and modelling but from a gameplay perspective, it is based very much on the original game - so many of the gameplay enhancements found in the sequel don't carry over.

Performance is mostly in the 60fps area, with adaptive v-sync engaged. When the engine can't quite hit its performance target, it renders the new frame mid-refresh, causing screen-tear. It's noticeable but thankfully not hugely intrusive to the gameplay.
