Drapes are located directly adjacent to windows and doors where sunlight can reach it easily. That's why it is overexposed to dust and allergens. If anyone in the home suffers from allergies, it is advised to clean draperies regularly. But cleaning drapes is a household chore that can be easily overlooked or even avoided as it seems like such a hassle.

So here's a video of Keith describing how we clean drapes in a home without removing them or taking them down.

Keith: "First, we make sure that the fabric is secured on the wall, we go inside each pleat and get rid of the dust from each pleat.
We do a dust test using a piece of paper towel. (Keith shows the specks of dust that get captured in the fabric). We have a couple of different vacuum tools that we used. But in the end, we'll test this fabric and make sure that we do the back side as well."

Keith: "After we do that, the next step is to get the oils, cooking oils, etc. off the fabric and we use special mitt design for custom fabric like this - it is super absorbent. We wipe down every section of this fabric, enough to transfer the oils in the mitt."
