I completely forgot about this one until now. The Forever Winter is a dark, gritty extraction shooter where you scavenge for supplies in the middle of a war, but without any PvP. Your goal is to survive, gather resources, and make it out alive, with water being one of the most critical items to find.

I decided to revisit the game on Linux (Fedora) to see if it still runs well, even though it’s listed as “unsupported.” As it turns out, it runs surprisingly great. You’ll see tense firefights, close calls, and an extraction in this gameplay session.
