In this video we explored Mcleodganj market which was full of souvenirs. Tibetan culture was pretty visible throughout the market. So many varieties of Tibetan souvenirs, winter clothings, shawls, antiques etc., were at sale that we wanted to buy everything. You guys also watch & explore the market with us.
Then we went to the Dalai Lama’s temple : Namgyal Monastery is one of the oldest buddhist monastery and is famous as 14th Dalai lama’s abode. When China invaded Tibet, 14th Dalai Lama along with 100,000 Tibetans, fled to Nepal, Bhutan and India.

Dharamshala is the second winter capital of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh and a municipal corporation in Kangra district. It also serves as the district headquarters. It was formerly known as Bhagsu. The Dalai Lama's residence and the headquarters of Central Tibetan Administration are in Dharamshala. Dharamshala is 18 kilometers from Kangra.

***About McLeodganj***
McLeod Ganj, also spelt McLeodganj, is a suburb of Dharamshala in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, India. It is known as "Little Lhasa" or "Dhasa" because of its large population of Tibetans. The Tibetan government-in-exile is headquartered in McLeod Ganj which treats the suburb as its Capital-in-exile.
