Chaos spread in Nadia’s Bahir Chora village under Nabadwip police station over the issue of missing housewife. The family claimed that the woman left the house in order to visit her father’s home. Since then, no one is aware of Hasina Bibi, the missing housewife’s whereabouts.

According to the police, Bahir chora area resident Rafik Sheikh’s wife Hasina Bibi is missing since Tuesday morning. Her father’s house is in East Burdwan’s Nadan Ghat police stations’ Sinjuli village.

Hasina’s daughter Parvina Khatoon said that her mother left to go to her maternal uncle’s house. But she did not reach there. The woman was carrying 500 rupees while leaving the house.

Hasina’s husband and daughter started looking for her as she did not return within the stipulated time. Everyone is clueless about the woman’s reason for going missing.

After all searches for the housewife failed, the family approached the Nabadwip police and filed a missing complaint. The police have started an investigation based on the complaint. Police are trying to look into every angle starting from extra-marital affair or any other reason.
