Описание к видео Laura Nyro Performs Timer live at Yale University Friday, September 22, 1972

A rare Clip of Laura Nyro performing Timer (from her 1968 album- Eli & The Thirteenth Confession) at Yale University on September 22, 1972.

This is a clip from the movie Night Passage that Laura and her then husband David Bianchini made in 1973. It was never released.

I have merged two clips that were in different aspect ratios together to make a complete performance video of Timer. Using audio editing software, I have also tried to clean up the audio as it had a lot of low end hum in the source video.

Never shown to the public, “Night Passage” contains rare-footage of Laura performing in September 1972 at Yale University’s Concert Hall. There is no other video of Laura performing at her own concert. This is not a bootleg, but a film that Laura co-created and approved.

The film captures Laura performing 5 complete songs during the concert:

“Timer“
“Stoney End”
“He’s a Runner”
“The Man Who Sends Me Home”
“Sweet Lovin’ Baby”
“Upstairs By a Chinese Lamp” (piano outro)
When Laura comes out for an encore, she talks candidly, sweetly to the audience, before she plays her music.
