In Texas, a semiconductor facility faced a massive challenge: installing over 150 mechanical, electrical, and plumbing modules—some weighing up to 400,000 pounds and spanning 200 feet—into a ceiling 26 feet high. The original plan meant welding piece by piece at height, a risky, time-consuming process.

Barnhart Crane & Rigging reimagined the job. Our team used custom tools like the Barnhart Lift Tables, Jack Masters, and an updated synchronous movement system to build modules safely at grade and lift them whole. In just six months, we engineered, fabricated, tested, and deployed eight new systems, completing 41 lifts and 35,000 man hours with zero incidents.

The result: faster installation, improved safety, and a project delivered on time under immense pressure.
