I was glad this day to have it set up here at the Zinfandel Station West Side crossing as I would unexpectedly find out that one of the General Signals Type 2s at the station was replaced with a type 1 Electronic Bell. It appears the type 2 was dead for a few years after I went back on my videos I filmed and went unnoticed due to the close proximity of other GS Type 2s here but SACRT eventually noticed because I never noticed it myself plus due to this being a freight only pedestrian crossing, you barely would I see it active. I tried to compare it to other Type 1s on Google Maps Street View that have been replaced off of SACRT's system and this bell seems nearly identical to the type 1 removed off the gateless SACRT signal at the Fruitridge Rd crossing due to its fade markings on the bell but the only thing is the cap and inner cone don't match the positions to it. This doesn't mean it is from Fruitridge though as SACRT has a lot of old GS Type 1s removed but nearly Identical to the Fruitridge bell. If you can remember, the gateless signal at Fruitridge Rd had a tone loss type 1 along with the median and shoulder signal at the same said crossing and the gateless and shoulders bell at Fruitridge were replaced because of it. It's possible SACRT when replacing tone loss bells works on trying to save them and bring the tone back somehow as the bells aren't dead that have tone loss just maybe in need of a new speaker or new wiring. If Jackson Rd would have had the broken bell replaced earlier, this would have ended up there instead which would have been awesome since it's a light rail crossing.
