Hey everybody! Welcome to another beautiful day on the farm. Today, the work is non-stop and full of surprises, as we tackle a variety of tasks from sun-up to sundown.

The morning starts with a major issue: a flat tire on one of our pivot irrigation systems. This marks the sixth flat tire we've had on this one pivot alone this year—a serious problem when you've got crops that need water! After getting the tire changed and the pivot back in line, I head off to my next task, but not before running into another challenge with a different pivot that got stuck in the mud. It’s all part of the daily grind.

Meanwhile, other members of our team are just as busy. We check in with a crew member who's out raking hay for our third crop, and he shares a look at the rough fields we’re dealing with. He explains why we have to rake against the grain, which makes for a bumpy ride.

We also get an inside look at harvesting hard red spring wheat. We tour the massive Fendt Ideal 9 combine and talk about its huge 350-400 gallon fuel tank and 500-bushel grain tank. You’ll hear about the amazing customer service from Agra Service that got us a loaner combine after ours broke down, and how a Fendt expert helped us fine-tune the settings to make sure we weren't losing any grain.

Later, we'll show you what we're doing to haul hay and straw bales. We give you a peek at our new Gazika moisture sensor that "X-rays" each flake of hay to make sure it's dry enough for baling. It's an incredible piece of technology that saves us from the constant headache of high-moisture hay.

This video is a raw look at the unexpected challenges and hard work that go into keeping a farm running. From fixing equipment to dealing with difficult weather and field conditions, every day is a test of our skills and patience.
