On top of the hotel is a rooftop restaurant called Calabra and the food, plus the views, are amazing!

Tip: Make reservations if you aren’t a guest. But if you are a hotel guest there is a separate area by the pool reserved just for you!

Note: The interior design in the lobby areas and the bar downstairs is stunning! But taking pictures in those areas is limited to five minutes. A security guard came up to us to tell us to stop taking pics. So if you want to come here to take IG pics or to vlog, make it a fast shoot because you’ll be asked to stop.

We stayed for two nights and we will 100% come back again. The decor, the vibe, the interior design, it all transports you to somewhere else. It’s such an experience. The hotel is a whiles walk from the ocean and all the Santa Monica attractions. So just prepare to walk a lot. They do have bikes that you can use but you’ll be trying to navigate through streets with cars and traffic. It may not be the most relaxing ride to the beach. But they do let you use the bikes for free.

The staff seem young so don’t expect the most attentive customer service. The food at the restaurant is pricey but you’re on vacation so live a little! I really enjoyed the breakfast/brunch food and the dinner food. The sushi was tasty and the dinner experience on the rooftop was grand!
