IN THIS TUTORIAL
LEFT HANDED TUTORIAL
i have designed a granny hexagon. This is a versatile hexagon, you can make a smaller granny hex to turn into coasters as i have done OR you can carry on and make one large hexagon blanket, or squares of any size of your choosing. The larger the hexagon the more pronounced the spike stitching.
MATERIALS USED
for this tutorial i used DK weight yarn, you can use any but just make sure you match the size of the yarn to the hook size. i also used a 4.5mm crochet hook & scissors.
NOTE..
The patter does use more yarn than a tradition granny square/hexagon so please take that into consideration when starting a project.
