The NBA in the past 5 days has seen multiple 70 and 60 point games. This is unprecedented and begs the question if scoring in the NBA is too easy. These stat lines are video game numbers and they are being done with such consistency that it looses some of its impact. Kobe himself did a feat like this 20 years ago and these very feats are being accomplished with regularity. I find many of the performances impressivebut I long for the days of defense being a thing that could be relied upon.
