Footage of the surrender of General Tomoyuki Yamashita of the Impreial Japanese Army to Allied military officers at the Governor's House in Baguio, a city in the Philippines.

The footage shows Yamashita's soldiers being relieved of their sidearms and samurai swords. One soldier, Ishinyane Motoji has a live grenade taken from his person.

Present at the surrender ceremony are US Lieutenant General Jonathan Wainwright, US Major General Edmond H Leavey and Lt. General Sir Arthur Earnest Percival who surrendered to Yamashita in Singapore in February 1942.

After the ceremony at which Maj. Gen. Leavey made a speech, Yamashita can be seen entering a cell at the Bilibid prison.
