Vol Biv - Solo paragliding XC adventure from Shropshire to Elan Valley, Wales

Vol Biv (hike/camp) flight from Corndon Hill, Shropshire to Elan Valley, Wales. An absolutely awesome picturesque xc adventure right here at home in the UK on the doorstep. Solitude, nature in abundance and time to reflect on how easy and lucky we are in our modern lives.
Outbound flight was 53km that took 2 hours, the return journey the following day was an adventure in itself. Total of 17 miles walked from Elan Valley to Rhayader where I was hitch hiking (fail), only 3 cars passed in two hours...! Then three bus journeys and 9 hours later I arrived back at my car. The whole return journey cost £8.70. What a bargain...!
