Installing Windows 8 into a PC is similar to other recent versions of Windows such as Vista or Windows 7. There are a few changes in the way Windows 8 is installed and configured though. If you buy a new PC with Windows 8, this video is also great for walking you through the first time setup of you new computer. It's a good idea to create a separate .Live and or .Hotmail. account prior to installing the operating system. Windows 8 will prompt you for the installation key in one of the first prompts rather than towards the end of the process, so have the key in front of you right away. Creating a new email account for Windows 8 is a good idea because later in the setup process, you will be asked for an email account and password. Windows 8 has Outlook integrated into the operating system, so the Administrator Account (first account set up be default) will have a different password and login than you personal email account. Windows 8 can quickly become confusing if you use your regular email for the Administrator Account. After the initial setup and Admin Account, you can go back into the user settings and set up a 'Local' account using the information you use on a regular basis without windows confusing the administrator settings with your personal preferences. Be sure to use a strong password on the Admin account email associated with it.
