DB Cargo red liveried Class 90, 90028, was one of the first two Bachmann Class 90s I had re-liveried into DB Cargo, along with DB Blue Class 90034. Initially, it had my plan to have DB 90034 done first as I thought by the time it had been completed, we would have seen following examples by Bachmann following on from 90005 in InterCity Swallow, 90037 in Speedlink RfD and 90042 in Freightliner Powerhaul, alas, this didn't and hasn't happened as of July 2021.

Bill, 90028, was an opportunity presented to me by the re-liverier and one which I gratefully took. 90028 was born, but sometime on, it's become apparent that there were a few cosmetic issues with Bill which fortunately, Jerry of Squirrel Rail has tended to, including the handle rails assisting drivers to the cabs, which should have been chrome silver but were overpainted originally. Bill, shown here has also been mated to DCC sound, bringing him to life further and he should feature in layout videos in the future.
