May or may not put out a vid briefly explaining this at some point. The move I’m doing when I look off to the side is a cancel for power shot that allows earlier access of quick shot, idle, walk, or dash (resets to charge level 2) out of power shot’s ending lag. It has some prospective utility for speeding up combos and managing stamina. Its main prospect is one of a post-meta tool for the fine optimization of punish scripts in speedruns.

Rough session for runs. Kinda was asking for it here. Tech combos w/ comparable or better DPS than meta AND good fit for major matchups’ topples/claggers/common punishes are needed, or its use becomes a reliability nightmare. This likely calls first for a mixed implementation of cancel-quick and cancel-dash to bring about significant gains, the former contributing surplus stamina the latter can burn to use high-DPS paths through the combo tree.
