The Watanabes - There's Something Wrong

Directed and shot by Matt De Sousa, There's Somethng Wrong was filmed during the autumn of 2017 in Yoyogi Park, Sendagaya, Zuienji Temple, Dogenzaka and Shibuya Ruby Room. The Watanabes would like to thank Chunling Chang for her make up skills and everyone who attended their Spoiled and Nostalgic Release Party on November 17th, 2017, providing the perfect audience for a vampire band! There's Something Wrong was taken from The Watanabes' album Draw What You Like, released digitally and at major record stores across Japan on March 19th, 2014. It was also re-released on CD as part of The Watanabes' 9 track album, Spoiled and Nostalgic, which hit the shelves of Tower Records and Disk Union on November 17th, 2017. The album is also available digitally on iTunes, Spotify and Bandcamp.

There's Something Wrong was written by The Watanabes in collaboration with David Naughton. Also produced, engineered, mixed and mastered by David Naughton, it was performed by The Watanabes and features Ayumi Sato on bass, Yoko Ohsawa on drums and Matt Hogan on keys. It was recorded at Nanahari, Tokyo in February 2013, and at David's home studio in beautiful rural Shikoku, in the heat and humidity of the Japanese summer.
