A note from the singer, who sang this beautifully at his home altar in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, dedicated to the ninth day of Navarathri.

It was on the blessed day of Saraswathy Puja 2023 I suddenly experienced in wondrous awe the Vision of Mother Saraswathy in my little heart!

Beyond the reach of doubt I was then convinced that I was in intimate conversation with the Mother Divine of the Universe in Her name and form of Mother Saraswathy. She is the Knowledge and Wisdom aspects of Mother Durga Who is the very personified superintendent of the prison house of birth and death within the shackles of three Gunas of SATTVA, RAJAS and TAMAS!!!

Grippingly at Her feet I besought Her grace like a child through the power of these words descriptive of Her attributes in this rendition of mine in Raag Bhimpalasi.

However, a few minutes into the song my mind was lit with the vision of Goddess Meenaksi in Madurai in the southern region of Tamil Nadu India and,thus words of my humble praise to Her majestic splendour got spontaneously incorporated into my rendition of the main composition. It was a divine digression in fluidity into the multifaceted divinity of the Goddess Divine celebrated in colour and splendour, and through dance and music across the length and breadth of Mother India during the auspicious Navaratri festivities each year.

Thus, to me, the Motherhood of God in Sanatana Dharma worshiped through many names and forms will never fail to answer our forsaken cry of her children struggling through the passage of time under the shackles of material qualities of Satva, Rajas and Tamas.

In all sublimity I dedicate this song I had learnt from my late mother at the divine feet of Mother Saraswathy.
